Starfield allows players to explore various Planets and Moons, and they can discover a number of resources throughout. Players will be able to use a tool called Scanner that lets them survey a planet. When using the Mouse and Keyboard for controls, players can simply press F to bring up the scanner. Considering the size of these moons and planets, players will need to travel stretchy distances to discover these resources. Some resources can also be bought from Merchants or picked up during your travels.
