+50 HP more. At price of reducing healing/food/med kits hp restoration by 20%.
For player with the trait, in game values of med kits and food in inventory are already reduced.

Oxygen is calculated the following way (player.getav oxygen):
Oxygen = (100 x Fitness) + Alien DNA
Alien DNA = 50
While the Fitness Perk doesnt multiply with Alien DNA, your max Oxygen is:
130 without Alien DNA
180 with Alien DNA
Oxygen regeneration is based solely on your max Oxygen, taking Alien DNA into account. It takes roughly 35 seconds ro regenerate a depleted O2+CO2 bar while not being encumbered.
Without Alien DNA you regenerate 130/35s = 3,7 Oxygen/s
With Alien DNA you regenerate 180/35s = 5,1 Oxygen/s

Forget the HP buff (you get +10 HP/level anyway), Alien DNA is about the Oxygen buff. You get an unconditional +50 max Oxygen while leveling up does not increase Oxygen.
Oxygen regenerates based on the max Oxygen and takes Alien DNA into account, so whatever you do that depletes Oxygen, you can do that for roughly +40% longer if you also have Fitness.
Its THE must-have Trait from those that dont alter gameplay.
You got like 20hp per lvl, you got hp and stamian boosts from gear and %hp from skills too. I don't know why so many articles on net treat this perk like s tier and best trait, is literally 50hp... 2lvl difference only noticeable in the tutorial before getting to first city. I didn't see of a difference stamina too... On the first time, the description gives the impression of a big impact on the game, but it is not. Im changing it for something other interesing trait on my 2nd run and I feel good about it.

This seems to give 50 extra hp mine was 255 at start and has only reduced my starting med kits from 4% a second to 3%
Actually seems really good as you have more hp and so heal more

It would be interesting to have the percentages, if anyone has them?
With the insane amounts of meds I find and have on me at any given time the drawbacks don't really make a difference to me.
