Resources in Starfield are items used as components in crafting that will help you survive the harsh environment of The Settled Systems. Resources are used to craft weapon mods, build player-made bases and outposts, and more. Resources vary in type and can be gathered and collected from various Starfield planets found in the system. How to Get Resources in Starfield?

Starfield allows players to explore various Planets and Moons, and they can discover a number of resources throughout. Players will be able to use a tool called Scanner that lets them survey a planet. When using the Mouse and Keyboard for controls, players can simply press F to bring up the scanner. Considering the size of these moons and planets, players will need to travel stretchy distances to discover these resources. Some resources can also be bought from Merchants or picked up during your travels.

Starfield Research allows players to unlock various items to develop new mods for their personal weapons, ship customization, and base building. These Research items require a set amount of time and required resources before they can be unlocked. Whenever you complete a Research item, you will be able to unlock new modifications for your Starfield weapons and armor, ship upgrades, and base improvements.

- The Starfield Scanner can be used by pressing F. This will also let you track your survey progress on Fauna, Flora, and Resources.
- The list of Resources available on a planet/moon is revealed on the left side panel before traveling to that location.
- Players can interchangeably use the Scanner and Cutter while surveying.
- Some Ores can take longer to extract compared to others.
- Players can sell completed survey data for credits.

Not accurate. I tried to sell dysprosium at wolf, sell value was 8, not 56. Unless this is just "value" like when you see sell value for the ship, but not the actual value you will get when actually selling it.
