Unique Armor refers to the one-of-a-kind types of Armor found in Starfield. They have distinctive Stats and looks that differentiate them from the standard armor pieces. Players can find Unique Armor during the course of the game, by completing certain Main Missions, Side Missions, or even while exploring the diverse amount of areas available in the game.
What are Unique Armors in Starfield?
Unique armors can only be found once during a playthrough and in a specific part. Be it a Mission, completing certain Factions tasks, having a determined Trait or simply just exploring the galaxy by yourself. Note that these special armor pieces won't be found anywhere else in the game.
STARFIELD ARMOR STATS
Armor is the main Equipment in the game that serves to mitigate damage and generally increase the player's resistance to hazardous and damaging effects. As mentioned previously, Spacesuits share in this function, and so offer the same defensive stats. Defensive Stats are generally divided into two categories, general Damage Resistance, and Environmental Resistance. Damage Resistance stats mitigate damage from the three main types of damage that can befall the player. Environmental Resistance stats mitigate damage from hazardous sources in more dangerous Locations.

- The term refers to the ability of a person or object to withstand and reduce the harmful effects of damage caused by ballistic weapons.
ENGY
- This phrase indicates the capacity of an individual or an object to withstand and diminish the harmful impact of damage caused specifically by energy weapons.
EM
- This phrase pertains to the capability of a person or object to endure and mitigate the harmful effects of damage caused by electromagnetic weapons.
ENVIRONMENTAL RESISTANCE
Thermal
- This term refers to the ability of something to withstand or endure high temperatures without being negatively affected or damaged.
Corrosive
- This phrase pertains to the capacity of something to withstand or endure corrosion without being negatively affected or damaged.
Radiation
- This expression refers to the ability of something to withstand or endure radiation without being negatively impacted or harmed.
Airborne
- This term indicates the ability of something to withstand or endure the effects of contaminants without being negatively affected or harmed.
