The Mantis Pack, can be found during the Mantis mission. To obtain this mission, players need to loot the slate called Secret Outpost! from a Spacer in the Medical Ward of the Nova Galactic Staryard docked next to Luna in the Sol System. The Nova Galactic Staryard is naturally explored during the Main Mission, The Old Neighborhood.
After this, head to Denebola I-b and clear the area of Spacers. Inside the base, complete the puzzle on the ground by spelling the word TYRANNIS by passing on each letter, to open the door at the end. Continue moving until you reach what it looks like the Mantis base of operations. There, all three pieces of the armor (Mantis Spacesuit, Mantis Space Helmet, and Mantis Pack), can be found inside a display case.
