Bolstering is an Armor Perk in Starfield. Bolstering increases the wearer's energy resistance and physical resistance, the lower their health up to +100 . Armor Perks are special abilities that certain armor pieces inherently possess. The amount of Armor Perks determines the rarity of said armor piece. Rare Armor Pieces have 1 Perk, Epic Armor Pieces have 2 Perks and, finally, Legendary Armor Pieces have 3 Perks.
