Deep Cover is a Faction Mission in Starfield. Deep Cover is a mission related to the Crimson Fleet faction. Completing Missions allows players to learn more about the world and characters in Starfield. Players can take on Main Missions which progress the main story forward, and other types of optional secondary missions that do not. Faction Missions are exclusive assignments issued by certain Factions, each of which contributes to the player's relationship with the corresponding Faction and progress the group's storyline. Completing Missions earns players experience, Weapons, Armor, and other types of loot.

Starfield Deep Cover Walkthrough
Step into the Operations Center, where Commander Ikande awaits on the opposite side. Use this opportunity to ask any burning questions via the dialogue options. Look out for Lieutenant Toft, who should make her rounds near the control panels. She'll brief you on the plan to tackle the Crimson Fleet. Follow the marker guiding you out of the Operations Center and back to your trusty ship. Then, set your course for Cydonia. You can swiftly reach it by selecting the objective in your Missions menu and tracking it on the map. Upon arriving at Cydonia, venture inside the Cydonia Central Hub in search of Saoirse Bowden. Descend the ramp just beyond the entrance and spot the first metal door to your right. Saoirse is the woman right behind it. Strike up a conversation with her until she requests 1000 credits in exchange for Crimson Fleet information. Your answer won't matter; she's not budging until you cough up the credits.
Now, climb back up the ramp and follow the marker to locate Adler Kemp. He's got a favor to ask before he spills the beans: convince Karl Fielding to settle his debt. Be cautious and consider saving your game before approaching him, as this choice will lead to different outcomes. If you opt to persuade Karl, go for the green dialogue choices for a better shot at success. Karl will be swayed easily with the Persuasion skill or Hippolyta item on your side. This is the safest path to completing the quest. Alternatively, if you choose to attack Karl, he and the nearby security and robots will retaliate, landing a hefty 15000 bounty. Plus, your morally upright companion won't be too pleased. Engaging Adler Kemp in combat might even result in a failed quest. With the money Karl owed settled, return to Adler Kemp. He'll then arrange a meeting with an associate from the Crimson Fleet for you.
