Amelia Earhart is a Companion and Recruitable Crew Member in Starfield. Amelia Earhart is a special secret Companion that players will only be able to find if they travel to the farthest corners of the universe, and if they have a ship capable of doing so. Essentially, Amelia Earhart is a clone in the game, of the actual historical figure, and is part of a colony of clones of other historically renowned people. Companions in Starfield are special NPCs that may join you along your journey. They have their unique personality, starting equipment, abilities, and moral compass. This may make your actions collide with them, leading you to confront or align them with your decisions. Amelia cannot be romanced.

How to Get Amelia Earhart in Starfield

In order to get Amelia Earhart to join you, you have to:

  • Travel to a Planet called the Charybdis 3 in the Charybdis Star System using a Ship that meets the requirement of being able to travel a range of at least 22-23 Light Years. Once there, select the Planet Charybdis 3 and then chart your course for the Location called The Crucible.
  • Follow the objectives of the Mission Operation Starseed and eventually complete it. This entails traveling even further away by 27 Light Years so you'll have to make sure again that your Ship is up to par.
  • Regardless of what outcome you choose for the Mission, Amelia Earhart will appear outside of Roosevelt's compound in The Crucible. Talk to her and you'll eventually be presented with the option to have her join your ship as your a member of your Crew or a Companion.

      Does Amelia have a companion story?
      Like Barret or Sarah or the others?

      If so, how do I trigger it?

      I am with her all around Neon, New Atlantis, Alkina, Paradiso, Titan ... even Earth.

      She never responds to any of the side quests in these locations.
