Evacuate the Survivalist is an Activity in Starfield. Evacuate the Survivalist occurs during the Into the Unknown Mission when you travel to the Procyon III to investigate the Scanner Anomaly.  Activities are additional tasks and interactions players can choose to participate in to learn about the characters and locations in Starfield. These are straightforward objectives that are shorter than the Main Missions you do to progress the main story. Completing Activities can lead to new activities or earn you rewards. These Side Missions enrich the lore of the game while presenting optional NPCs, Enemies, or Bosses that are not directly tied to the main storyline. Completing Missions earns players experience, Weapons, Armor, and other types of loot.

  

How to unlock Evacuate the Survivalist in Starfield

Evacuate the Survivalist can be unlocked by the following NPC or the following actions:

  • Evacuate the Survivalist is located on Procyon III within the Procyo A System. 
  • Follow the Distortions on the Scanner as part of the objectives for Into the Unknown until you encounter a Survivalist

Players will need to reach the Into the Unknown Mission until it leads you to follow the distortions on the Scanner at the Scanner Anomaly on Procyon III.

There will be a survivalist leaning against a tall rock. Interact with him and he will ask for your help. You can offer him medicine and run together, cover him, or pass on helping him. Accept his plea to gain the Activity.

Track the objective from the Activities tab to mark the survivalist's ship location on your map. Make sure he makes it to the ship safely and speak with him there for a reward.
