Talk to Sergeant Yumi is an Activity in Starfield. Talk to Sergeant Yumi is a recurring activity. Speaking to Sergeant Yumi leads to more assignments and task opportunities for additional rewards. Activities are additional tasks and interactions players can choose to participate in to learn about the characters and locations in Starfield. These are straightforward objectives that are shorter than the Main Missions you do to progress the main story. Completing Activities can lead to new activities or earn you rewards. These Side Missions enrich the lore of the game while presenting optional NPCs, Enemies, or Bosses that are not directly tied to the main storyline. The UC Security member will say that Sergeant Yumi is looking for reliable people to help the guard.  This guard patrols around the Commercial District. You might encounter the activity while approaching the Valberg building near Terrabrew Coffee. 

Speak to Sergeant Yumi to activate the Mission: Keeping the Peace. Track the quest from your Missions menu under activities to mark your objective location. Follow the marker to locate Sergeant Yumi. He will be in the UC Security Office. Speak to him and offer to help to fulfill the objective.

This will be a recurring Activity. Talk to Sergeant Yumi  will be activated usually when Sergeant Yumi has a new task available for you. Speak to him went he activity is active to potentially gain a new Mission for a chance to earn additional rewards.
