Olive Branch is a Miscellaneous Mission in Starfield. Olive Branch tasks you with planting an olive seed within the MAST District. Completing Missions allows players to learn more about the world and characters in Starfield. Players can take on Main Missions which progress the main story forward, and other types of optional secondary missions that do not. Miscellaneous Missions are side quests that do not affect your relationship with any Faction or progress the main story. Completing Missions earns players experience, Weapons, Armor, and other types of loot.

How to unlock Olive Branch in Starfield
Olive Branch can be unlocked by the following NPC or the following actions:
- Can be obtained by speaking to Nilesh Sherazi in the gardens outside the MAST building in the MAST District on New Atlantis, Jemison in the Alpha Centauri System.
Starfield Olive Branch Rewards

Starfield Olive Branch Walkthrough
Olive Branch can be started by speaking to Nilesh Sherazi. Start by asking him what he thinks about the Embassy District, after which you'll be able to ask him if he has any jobs for you. He'll explain that he likes collecting plants, of which his prized collection is an Olive Seed. You'll be tasked with planting the Olive Seed nearby in the atrium of the Embassy District for it to be a symbol of hope when fully grown.
Your next quest marker will lead you to a plot of soil in the atrium. Unfortunately, the area is constantly watched by a UC Security guard. You can either give the guard the seed to dispose of it, or you can speak to Nilesh to distract the guard. If you pick the latter, plant the seed while the guard is looking away, then return to Nilesh to receive your reward.
Starfield Olive Branch Notes & Tips
- If you fail to plant it while Nilesh distracts the guard, you can push him with your character by walking against him. When he is far enough you can plant the seed.
